Sammie's love for interior design began over two decades ago, rooted in a childhood spent sketching floor plans and elevations long before she knew what they were. From an early age, she instinctively reimagined and elevated the spaces around her - rearranging, organizing and styling not only her personal environments but also influencing the interiors of her family home.
Pursuing her natural talent with intention, Sammie earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and went on to achieve the distinguished NCIDQ certification - the highest credential in the field and a mark of her commitment to both creativity and professional excellence.
Today, Sammie is the Owner and Creative Director of Sammie Janica Interior Design, a boutique studio known for blending thoughtful function with timeless, elevated style. With over ten years of experience, she brings deep expertise in luxury residential design, from custom new builds to beautifully curated renovations. Sammie began her career working with a high-end custom home builder in Northeast Florida and has also enjoyed restoring and updating historic homes with her husband.
At the heart of Sammie's approach is a belief that your home should reflect who you are and how you live. She designs spaces that are not only beautiful, but that make everday life feel effortless and inspired.
When not immersed in the world of design, Sammie enjoys spending time with her husband and their three boys - often cheering on the sidelines at local sporting events, trying new restaurants, or exploring Northeast Florida's natural gems.
