Sammie found her passion for interior design at the age of nine years old when her hobbies consisted of drawing plans for her dream home and constantly rearranging and organizing her bedroom. After graduating high school, Sammie studied and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design and has since become a certified interior designer after passing the rigorous NCIDQ exams. The NCIDQ certification is the highest standard of interior design certification that can be achieved.

She now has over a decade of experience in Interior Design with a focus in residential design and new construction. After working her way up to the Director of Design for a luxury custom home builder in Jacksonville, she decided it was time to pursue her long time goal of owning her own interior design firm.

Sammie's goal for Sammie Janica Interior Design is to develop genuine and transparent relationships with her clients in order to understand how she can best design spaces to match her clients needs. Sammie believes that form and function are both important and strives to achieve beautiful spaces that are livable for her clients.
